CLASS/FITNESS PROGRAM & ROUTINE:

Chay believes in making fitness FUN! Her group classes, programs and routines vary depending on the students/client’s needs, ranging from beginners to advanced and from meditation to what she calls Yoga Fit Fusions along with her popular DJ Flows. Students can expect a creative combination of different fitness modalities including yoga, Pilates, aerobics/cardio, strength training, conditioning, stability, balance, poise and flexibility and/or something more restorative, rehabilitating, healing and relaxing. She’s known to inspire physically, mentally & spiritually.

Chay weaves in music, quotes, poems, and compassionate language that magnify the beauty & strength of her students’ bodies all the while integrating the more subtle energetic connection. Classes are often challenging with modifications, include safe & intelligent sequencing and there’s an unspoken focus on celebrating one’s whole being and life!

CLASS NEWS:

  • Warm Vinyasa Flow @ LifeTime Athletic & LifeSpa: Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:45 am. These Vinyasa Flow classes will be in a room heated to 86 degrees, are taught just as I normally do, including warm ups and sequentially build as we go. Options and variations are always offered with attention on safe alignment. More challenging postures will be broken down and made accessible for easier learning.
  • Vinyasa Flow @ LifeTime Athletic & LifeSpa: A 60 practice suitable for any level. Room is not heated.
  • HOT Power Fusion @ LifeTime Athletic & LifeSpa: Tuesdays 12:00 – 1:00 pm and Saturdays 10am – 11 am. Hot Power Fusion classes are taught in a room heated to a bit over 90 degrees. Class is for the intermediate/advanced yogi or the fit student looking for to feel challenged while building endurance, flexibility & strength using one’s own body weight. Exercises from different fitness modalities will be practiced and yoga postures are weaved in throughout the class. Please warm up ahead of time & come ready to work. Arm balances and inversions will be practiced, but are not mandatory.
  • SURRENDER @ LifeTime Athletic & LifeSpa: Thursdays 10:30-11:30am. This class is the LifePower signature format of a YIN style class. Postures are grounding and sustained anywhere from 2-5 min. Class is challenging physically and mentally, and suitable for all levels.
